A grassroots program that provides a springboard for aspiring young athletes in Sport Karate.
By working together with local communities, we engage youngsters in an initiative that helps them achieve lifelong skills, such as behaviour management, confidence, discipline, team work, self-worth as well as forming new friendships.
The program will seek to give fifty children and young adults of all abilities and cultural background, a minimum of 18 hours of free training. It means we can reach out to more families where opportunities like these are limited due to financial circumstances.
Through sport karate training, the participants are physically and mentally challenged in pursuit of a common goal; success in the competition arena. The program will culminate in an all-day friendly competition to give them that push of confidence and valuable experience of performing on the spot, whilst all done in a fun, exciting and engaging way.
