For four days last weekend, members of our club represented our association Seiwakai England at the Commonwealth Karate Federation (CFK) Club Championships in Birmingham (Sept 2022). A very high standard competition, with over 1400 athletes in attendance who came and competed for their Commonwealth country. We are privileged to have been a part of this historic event and most especially in honour of HM The Queen. Two of our club members, Karissa Ho (from Bow dojo) and Sara Pecak (from Ilford dojo) won a Bronze medal each at the Commonwealth Karate Club Championships! We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them both on their success! As well
as thank the parents, families and coaches who supported the team of 10 athletes from the club and association. We are already looking forward to the 2024 Commonwealth Games which will take place in Dhaka City, Bangladesh!
